
Nice property? North Portugal riverfront properties are rare because the Portuguese never used to build away from the main road (because they like to see their neighbors pass and to trade) and then, when they learned the benefits of seclussion and superb views, it was too late; the Spanish and Portuguese came to an agreement prohibiting new building permits for properties within 100 meters of their rivers.
